Christian Beyer
Owner/Operator
Christian is the founder of Valley City Automotive, driven to build a business with a simple idea: treat people with care and hold the service provided to a standard of excellence. Outside of building the business, he and his wife Miranda are raising two little boys, which keeps them laughing and on their toes. Weekends often mean family time, firing up the smoker for a long afternoon cook, or enjoying a quiet cigar with a good pour of bourbon. He likes the quietness of a country evening, projects that teach patience, and the simple rhythm of showing up every day. He believes in doing what you say and leaving people better than you found them. This is what he strives to bring into the business and the way he treats people.
Zoltan Darko
Zoltan is an ASE Master Certified Technician at Valley City Automotive. He has been a technician since 2004. He grew up in northern Illinois, then lived in Colorado for 12 years before returning to the Midwest and making Eau Claire, WI, home. When not at work, he spends a lot of time riding his bikes, fishing, being outdoors, or enjoying time with his wife, Kaelie
Ben Nelson
Ben is a highly skilled technician at Valley City Automotive. Drawing on his prior experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, Ben brings a strong mechanical foundation and problem-solving mindset to every vehicle he works on. Outside the shop, Ben is passionate about classic cars. He enjoys restoring and working on them, as well as attending car shows. When he’s not under the hood, you’ll often find him grilling or spending time outdoors.
Logan Raschick
Logan is the newest addition to the Valley City Automotive team. He is currently enrolled in the Automotive Technician program at Chippewa Valley Technical College, where he is building his skills and knowledge as he begins his career in the automotive industry. After deciding to pursue a career doing work he’s genuinely passionate about, Logan is excited to continue learning and growing as a technician.
Outside of work and school, Logan enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time in the gym.

Shaun Bicknell
Shaun is a veteran Automotive Service Advisor with 30 years of hands-on experience bridging the gap between technical shop operations and exceptional customer care.
Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to witness and adapt to the many changes within the automotive industry—from the days of carbon-copy paperwork to today’s modern technology-driven service processes.
What has remained constant throughout those changes is his commitment to people. He genuinely cares about the experience each client has at Valley City Automotive. He takes pride in building trust, communicating effectively, and making sure every customer feels valued and taken care of.
He is passionate about continuing to expand his knowledge and improve the way he delivers a world-class customer service experience.
